So what's fair?

This is one of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes strip. I think a lot of us wonder just as Calvin does why the world isn't ever unfair in our favor.

I really don't want to get started but it bothers me we hear so much these days about how the economy is improving, and yet prices of everything keeps shooting up. So, who's enjoying the benefits of the supposed improved economy. I know it's not me, and I know a number of ordinary Juan and Juana de la Cruces that would say it's not them.

I guess Calvin's lament is my lament...
